Because your privacy is important to us we guarantee that we will not sell, rent or trade your personal information which may be entered on your entry to this site but will merely use it for our own e mail purposes to e mail you with any special offers or changes - which may arise from time to time.
Collection and Use of Data
We also may ask you for personal information such as your name, phone number, e-mail address, and mailing address on various pages of this web site ( Order forms etc ) Such personal information is collected only for quotation purposes. This information allows us to process and fulfil your order, to inform you of new products, services or offers, and to contact you if we need any further information.
Disclosure of Data
Harleys Rosewood will not disclose your personal information without your express consent unless required to do so by law or unless a dispute arises which may require your information to be disclosed in relation to any legal dispute or claim.
Updating and Removal of Data
We do not wish to cause offence by e-mailing those of you who do not want such e-mail notifications, you may have your name removed from our e-mail marketing lists at any time, by sending an e-mail subject heading "Please remove me from all e-mail lists". This will then be carried out within 24 hours of receipt.

By using our web site, you consent to the collection and use of this information as outlined in this privacy policy. We may change our privacy policy at any time and without notice.
Deliveries
Our normal service and pricing structure is achieved by building up orders - and then placing an order for a full Container to be shipped from the factory to the United Kingdom. This bulk shipping method enables us to keep transportation costs to a minimum - and enables us to buy the products more competitively - and pass on the savings to our Customers. Most people would rather use this method to maintain the lowest possible prices - despite the waiting time involved. These waiting periods can be as long as 6 months - although a lot of the time the containers will fill more quickly. If you choose to use this service - please note that we cannot be held accountable for lead times due to the unpredictable nature of Internet Sales.
Lead Times
Normal Lead times from the point where we order are (approximately) 8 weeks to build and finish the furniture. We will always try to state a delivery date and try to maintain it within a reasonable time frame.
Deliveries
We always endeavour to quote for deliveries prior to order as this can depend on various factors.
Express Deliveries
We can get quotations for "door-to-door" delivery on individual pieces of furniture - for people who want to have the goods Crated and Freighted individually - instead of waiting for our next Container shipment. Please ask for further details if you need a fast delivery.
World-wide Delivery
All shipments outside of the UK will be handled by the Individual crating method - and will be quoted in this manner for logistical reasons. We are happy to price any of our furniture - delivered to your nearest port - Anywhere in the World
Container Shipments
For information on the anticipated date of our next container shipment to the U. K. - please e mail us. Our prices include shipping to the UK via the next full container load.
Trade Shipments
We are happy to supply prices on a wholesale basis. Please ask for details.
Tung oil finish
The Tung Oil finish on our furniture is produced by hand. Whilst our samples give an idea of colour - we cannot guarantee the final colour being identical - as the pigments in each batch of oil will vary - and the effect will vary depending on the tone of the wood used for each piece. It is also not uncommon for rosewood grain to have different tones and sometimes texture variance. As wood is a natural product - this is an accepted fact.
Unforeseen problems
We bring all furniture into the UK on sealed containers with all furniture being pre wrapped and packed by the factory. We never unpack furniture until we arrive at a customer's house to ensure that it travels well protected. If there is a problem with any of the furniture when it is unpacked - we will offer you the following options in the following order.
Option 1
Offer to take it back and replace it for you if it has been made incorrectly This gives you the right to refuse to accept the goods as they are not to your specification - and we will replace them for you to your spec as soon as possible or issue a refund if you prefer. We will not unload the goods - but simply take them back and reject them to the factory if this is your choice.
Option 2
If you choose to keep the furniture having seen the problems with it - then we will carry the goods into your house and unpack them for you. We will then on our return e mail the factory and advise them of the problems - and obtain a discount from the factory for your inconvenience. Once you have opted for us to carry the furniture into your house - the delivery will be considered good - and you may not later change your mind and attempt to reject the goods.
Option 3
If the furniture is correct to your order specifications - but you do not like it when it arrives - we do not accept any liability whatsoever as it is your responsibility to check the specification carefully at point of order.
Option 4
If the furniture is damaged when unpacked - it will of course be insured. We will offer a replacement within the best timeframe and even consider leaving the damaged furniture with you whilst you wait for replacements
Payments and deposits
We ask for a 25% deposit for "standard" items and a 50% deposit with "design specials". Once an Order has been placed - the deposit requested will be deemed non returnable as the factory commences the order at the factory upon receipt of this deposit.
Balance payments
Deliveries
Local Deliveries
Balance payments are required before delivery or collection of the goods. Once the funds have been cleared - your furniture can be collected from our warehouse if this is the option you choose. If we are arranging delivery we will arrange the onwards delivery for you. On local deliveries - our drivers are permitted to carry in the product for you. They will sometimes agree to unpack for you
Deliveries outside our local area
All deliveries outside of our local area will be handled by our delivery agents. The quotations are based on them delivering the furniture to your door.
FAILURE TO COLLECT AND PAY FOR THE GOODS / PAY THE BALANCE OF THE INVOICE ON ARRIVAL IN THE UK
If you for any reason to change your mind - and do not want to collect and pay for the furniture on its arrival in the UK - or to pay prior for delivery to your home - we reserve the right to " Claim Ownership" of the furniture by reason of default - and to sell the furniture on to recoup our losses on the balance payment. This would only be done after an e mail clearly informing you of our intentions - to absolve us of any blame for taking such actions should it ever become necessary. We normally are happy to work with our customers to ensure they get extra time if required to collect and pay for the furniture which they have ordered. |
